One of her most famous live readings was the one she did on The View before the Presidential Elections in October 2008.  On the show, Glynis McCants predicted in front of millions of people that Barack Obama would become the president of the United States.  “If he can weather the storm of this year, he’ll prove to be an effective president.” McCants said on the show.  She also had a special advice for the future president – don’t abuse any substances such as food, sex or alcohol!

Based on the date of birth of the future president, Glynis McCants calculated Obama’s “Lifepath Number” to be 2 and his “Personal Year Cycle” to be 5.  According to McCants, people with a “Lifepath Number” of 2 are great mediators and they mean what they say.  Furthermore, McCants explained that people with “Personal Year Cycle” of 5 are expected to have more freedom and sometimes freedom would lead to substance abuse.
